GVF is deeply committed toward addressing the availability and accessibility of water in rural areas.

At a community level, we primarily undertake two types of interventions - widening and deepening of seasonal rivers and construction Global River Aquashafts (GRAs) to recharge the groundwater aquifers.

Our projects reflect our continued commitment to achieve sustainable rural development addressing climate change related impact.

By focusing on practical and scalable interventions, our projects strengthen the region’s capacity to capture and effectively utilise rainwater, contributing meaningfully to long-term water security.

The planned intervention aims to drive ecological and agricultural transformation by increasing water storage, enhancing groundwater recharge, expanding arable land, reducing flood risks, and enabling multi-cropping practices.
